BOE-BOT serial cable with SX

I was recently given a SX kit as a gift and I was toying with it to try
and learn something more powerful than my BS2s I got through several
discount boebots.
While learning this new chip, I'm basicly breadboarding projects out on
a BOE then moving the project to the SX developement board. This is
slightly annoying as I have to keep switching cables and my computer
is in a very hard to reach area.
Basiclly my question is... Are the serial cables that the BOE-BOT kit comes
with basiclly the same as the ones needed for the SX board?
I figured I'd fire off a post before actually trying and frying my new toys.
