Emic Text-to-Speech & Prop. Help pleese...

Hello All,

I've just been looking at the Emic TTS module, and I've seen how easy it is to operate. But I don't have a Basic Stamp... I do have the Propeller with the "BS2_Functions" program... How can I use that program to tell the Emic what to say? BS2.SEROUT_STR?

Go and get the "simple serial" and "full duplex serial" objects from the OBEX. They both come with sample programs that will show you how to use them. BS2 functions will do it too. I haven't used to EMIC module, but everything needing serial comms has been easy for me to get working with the above objects. If the EMIC is a 5V module, make sure to check out the sticky on inyerfacing the prop with 5v safely.
