Driving a stepper motor

···· I have an old stepper motor from a printer that only has four wire's instead of the normal six or eight.·· I have opened it up and it only has two coils, I thought that stepper motors had to·have four to six coils.

···· Because·I have no idea what this type of stepper motor it·is·so·I can't Goggle it, if someone could direct me to a web site it would be greatly appreciated.··
