Does Basic Mini Provide Bus?

Hi...I'm a newbie here and I've never used basic mini before.
I'm trying to build a system using Basic Mini and Wiznet's NM7010A network module.
I wanted to use indirect bus mode access for the network module. Does Basic mini provide this bus interface??

Thanks for the information smile.gif

What do you mean by "basic mini"? The Basic Stamp is considered to be a microcontroller which is usually self contained (with processor, memory, and I/O). There is no built-in bus interface although you can use some of the I/O pins to create one. This would operate at program speed which would be relatively slow and would not be an extension of the existing memory. The Basic Stamp also can do I2C using subroutines. The BS2p/pe/px models include built-in I2C statements that would speed up transfers.
