parallax serial adapter HELP PLEASE!!!

HELLO all i have messed around with many serial adapters including Belkin, were none of the drivers for vista works and most dont even have drivers for vista i wonder if anyone knows if this serial adapter from fries has it, THANK YOUattachment.php?attachmentid=73793

    I am using the USB/serial adapter from Parallax·on a Vista machine. It works just fine - never had a problem with it. I downloaded the FTDI drivers from Parallax as well.

    Yes -- it works. Make sure you download the drivers from Parallax, AND install them, BEFORE you plug in the adapter to the USB port. Otherwise, the 'default' windows USB to Serial drivers will be used, which don't work with the FTDI chipset.
