Led Cube with SX chip

I am sure you have seen those Lid cubes on youtube or andy other site.· But I am asking for ideas from people on designs to make with LED cube. I made a 3X3X3 LED cube and I am now working on turning it into a color organ, but when not running on sound it needs designs to run.· Any ideas...
