PSC USB 1.0 and servo type
I purchased the PSC servo controller and some servos..(Nothing has arrived as of yet I Just ordered) I am interested in Building a robot.
I have a few quick questions that I was unable to find the answers to.
Is the PSC compatible with usb 1.0 ? My laptop does not have usb 2.0.
Will regular servos work or do they have to be digital ?
IS the PSC compatible with the Basic stamp 1 ? I
read that its is not compatible with version 2.
I purchased 12 dynam 8g micro servos and hope all of this will be compatible for me to get started. If so I may work my way to to the basic stamp for
a microcontroller.

It's compatible with ordinary R/C servos. Most of these have analog servo mechanisms and some of these have digital servo mechanisms.
There is a whole other class of servos that are completely digital, use high speed serial control signalling, and require a different type of controller.
We're not talking about these.
I know the Serial PSC is compatible with both the BS1 and the BS2. I'm not sure if that's true for the USB PSC. The issue is the Baud for
communications. The Serial PSC is switchable between 2400 Baud which both Stamps support and 38.4KBaud which only the BS2 supports.
The default is 2400 Baud.
Yes I meant the PSC USB version
I caught the robot bug ordered the stuff and was not quite sure it was all going to work together :)
