SX-Key availabilty

It has been quite some time since the SX-Key has been available.

Does any one know when they will be in stock again ?!!?

    Even Mouser lists it as being an Obsolete part but offers no alternative other than it being part of the full blown development kit.

    They will gladly sell you an SX-Blitz though.

    Last i heard it was suppose to be sometime this month the new SX key will come out i have a Rev.F that the debugger dosent work and they said as soon as the new ones are done to send it in and they will exchange it.

    Over the past several days Chip, Guenther, and several others have been working on an issue currently delaying the SX-key.
    One of the previous IC's has become obsolete, or difficult to find. The "substitute" IC that has currently been under test, has shown instabilities with the PLL.
    We will keep you posted when a solution has been found.

    It's to bad that the longevity and usefullness of certain IC's far outweighs the desire of a manufacturer to produce them if they were even slightly niche products.

    This was the problem I always had with DALLAS and MAXIM parts. You read a Databook no more than 1 year old and find out that half the parts will never be seen again.

    It's like fashion...
