PSC serial servo controller problem

I purchased a PSC about a year or so ago.. and it looks like something has gone wrong with it.. all the outputs are stuck at 1500ms and it will not respond to any commands to move the servos or get the version. is it beyond hope? do I need to purchase another one (which I'd rather not do.. but I may have to.)

HELP!

its a vital part of my costume, and if I do have to replace it, should I get the Serial version. or the usb version.

thanks..

If you are sending code to it at the correct baud rate and are sure it is connected correctly then it is probably broken. Make sure you have read and followed the instructions and testing proceedures and try communicating to it from another source. As to USB or serial that will depend on what you plan to connect it to.

I did all the testign the manual said.. and it won't respond.. I guess the recive data pin is blown or something.. the lil green light flashes as it gets data..

as to the connection, its going to be connected to a microcontroller.. so either version will work.. but the mounting points are setup for the psc non usb version.

the usb one looks a lil bigger.
