Hi

I need to receive a picture from
the EmbeddedBlue (bought at Parallax) to my
cel. phone.

I understand that I need to connect the
EmbeddedBlue to my PC but I don't
understand If I need the Stamp or not.

Do you have some information?

Thanks, Joe
PS: Of course the picture is stored at my PC.

I don't think this will work. There are certain kinds of protocols for transferring certain kinds of information across a Bluetooth connection. For example, file transfers are different from printing and that's different from a serial connection or an audio connection. I believe the Embedded Blue device just implements a serial connection. You can't transfer audio and you can't transfer files, etc. You may be able to get the internal manual for your particular model of cell phone and find that there's some modem command to send a picture to the phone, but you may find that it's impossible.
If you can connect the cell phone over a serial cable to your PC and transfer a picture, then you could substitute the EmbeddedBlue device and have some chance that it would work the same over Bluetooth. That's about it.

    Thanks,

The idea of using Bluetooth is in order
    to send media files too.

For example if you go to the cinema
with your cel.phone , you and the other people there (at the cinema)
could receive mp3, pictures, etc., because there is a PC with
    a Bluetooth transmitter.

The best of Bluetooth is to send media files,
if not, why does Parallax sell Bluetooth transceivers?

Please, if somebody has more information
about how can I send pictures from a PC
    to cel.phones, please send it.

    Thanks , Joe

Parallax sells Bluetooth transceivers to connect their microcontrollers with each other and with PCs for serial data. It makes no sense to support media files because most of their (Parallax's) microcontrollers are not suited for work with media (mostly because of slow speed and little memory for data).

    Via Bluetooth:
Make sure your computer bluetooth is set to be visible not hidden.
The goto: Settings > Connectivity > Bluetooth > My Devices > Search new device (activate bluetooth if it asks) select your computer enter a code, a box should the pop up on your computer screen saying samsung sgh-d500 wishes to pair with you and it will ask you for a code, enter the code you put into your phone then find your computer on the list of devices select options and authorize device, this will allow your computer to send files to your phone without you having to click yes everytime.

Now go into your bluetooth program select send file or object push the browse through your file's untill you find the picture you wan't to send then select send. The picture will go into the images file in your "Funbox"
