need help about the avrcam

hello there,
i wanna some help about the avrcam,plz
first thing:
Does the avr capture images in white and black?
second thing:
about the "Red Flooding Problem" Who cause it(light sensor or the object or ...etc)?
and What is reason of it?
and if Can we prevent it?
