Questions about the avrcam

hello there,
i wanna some help about the avrcam,plz
first thing:
Does the avr capture images in white and black?
second thing:
about the "Red Flooding Problem" Who cause it(light sensor or the object or ...etc)?
and What is reason of it?
and if Can we prevent it?
waiting to some help about this
