Thanks to some recent posts I decided to see if I could get video back working on a protoboard that I snuffed the PLL on. The Prop could still use the crystal but no PLL settings. Ordered a 80Mhz crystal oscillator (all they had were smd but that worked out ok) and removed the "+ pll16X"· and changed the xinfreq statement to 80_000_000 in the graphics demo and it works! Thanks again for giving the idea to do this.

    Nice. Can you give a link to the part you used? This sounds easier than replacing the chip...

    What is the advantage to using an 80 MHz clock over a 5 MHz clock w/ 16xPLL ?

    the advantage is the 80 will work when the PLL is fried.
    totally feel like using "PLuraLizer", but I am just wierd smile.gif
