BS2 and SparkFun Serial LCD Backpack

I just purchased a Serial LCD Backpack from SparkFun, but they do not have any code examples on how to interface it to a BS2. Any help would be appreciated.

Wouldn't it be nice if Parallax removed their serial board from the LCD and sold it separately.

I recommend the #117 serial backpack from Peter Anderson (www.phanderson.com).

It does pretty much everything you'd want... except directly access the LCD's onboard EEPROM for misc data
storage... this is rarely needed though in my opinion.

I also recommend checking his ebay auctions before buying off his site, you can often get them cheaper that
way.

I agree 100% - they are great devices. I have a bunch of them laying around my bench and use them on both the Stamp and Propeller. They just plain work!
