Fill Plain of a Board

Hello Everyone,
I've completed and had one Board Manufactured. Now I want to use the Fill Plain on the next version. I'm only using the BS2, DS1302, Piezo, Battery, Voltage Reg., and Solid State Relay. The board is 4 X 3.
Questions:
1) Can I just click on the fill plain in one corner and blank the complete board, removing any very thin (0.007) traces???
2) This is on Both sides.
3) what dangers in doing it this way?
thanks for any help and advice

I assume that is what you were looking to do.

Looking at the BOE with a magnifier, it almost looks as though they did what I was asking about, that is, just put a blanket over the whole board (4 x 3) and remove anything thats to small. I tried to lay out my traces as 5vdc on top and Ground on bottom, my board should not have any noise problem but...for my own knowledge...who/when/were would you need a ground plain on both sides or does this not even make since except for real HIGH speed. Note: I'm just learning about all this board layout process.
thanks for any help
