stamps for Boe Bots

Can anyone tell me what advantages there would be with other stamps on a boe bot?

Have noticed some have more pins, so would they use a version of the boe board?

I plan to experiment with the ping sensor, compass and some other goodies. So at what point will I overwhelm the stamp2? Is this what the daughter boards are used for? Is there any way to help the stamp? Or to take over some of the other processing?

Since deciding to get back to playing with my boe bot, have been really engaged again. I want to thank Parallax for creating products that don't require much knowledge of electronics.

My interest in things computers, since my TRS 80 and before we knew who Bill Gates was, have always centered on the programming. The boe bot has expanded that to include new challenges. For that I really appreciate what Parallax does.

Just a happy customer

    Advantages:
Faster, more program storage (as 2K "slots" ... not longer programs), more data storage (as scratchpad RAM), additional features like I2C, 1-Wire, and parallel LCD support.

If you get interested in the Propeller, you can use the Protoboard in place of the BOE. It fits nicely in place of the BOE. You can also use the Javalin and the Spin Stamp on the BOE. The Spin Stamp requires some care because of the 3.3V I/O.
