I've got it partially written, but it's too buggy yet. Still. Sorry.
It sometimes corrupts the root directory, not something you want to have happen.

I've started reading the FAT16 specs and fsrw code myself,
but it's just too above my head at the moment to form a working solution.

You're right, a corrupt root directory would be a bad side effect.. [noparse]:)[/noparse]
