An excellent learning robot is the BOEBOT (www.parallax.com/tabid/411/Default.aspx). You can download the manuals here www.parallax.com/tabid/535/Default.aspx. Here's the page with the European distributors: www.parallax.com/Default.aspx?tabid=492. Perhaps someone else knows a distributor in Greece.

BOE-Bot for Robotics Studio requires a copy of Robotics Studio on a PC to work. The BOE-Bot is made into an "output device" for the Robotics Studio.

The BOE-Bot with Serial lets you program the BS2 module on the BOE-Bot to do what you want to do. I believe it also comes with quite a few experiments to do.

If you have a computer without a serial port, you can purchase (for $30 or so) a USB to Serial converter that will work with the BOE-Bot Serial version. Or, you can purchase the BOE-Bot with its own on-board USB to Serial adapter -- the separate adapter is more flexible, but the on-board adapter has less pieces to keep track of.

I think the Robotics Studio uses a blue-tooth adapter for the PC to talk to the BOE-Bot.

If you are just starting, I'd get the BOE-Bot with USB. You can always add the Bluetooth Adapter for Microsoft Robotics Studio later.
