Well, what I am wondering is how would the RC (electric) motor be hooked up to the BOE. On the RC car the motor is hooked up to the an electronic speed control. Would the ESC be hooked up to the BOE, or is there a special type of motor control used by the BOE. What I am thinking about doing is taking the Traxxas E-Maxx RC truck and using that as a robotics platform and moving from the BASIC stamp to the Javelin since I have background with JAVA programming. AH, this is just an idea, and I am wondering if it is feasible.
depending on the size of the motors in the RC vehicle.
The BOE bot uses servos so the code would be different when using these different DC motor controllers. But it wouldn't be too hard to make a simple program to drive it.
