Just finished my BOE-BOT MATTRACK setup ... for those with MATTRACKs waiting to be setup, hope this helps with your design ... for those who do not have MATTRACK ... I bought·2 sets for my setup in case I needed parts,·turns out I didn't need them ... so I made two sets :)·... if any one is interetsed, the secound set is for sale (First Email gets them ... if not ebay time) ... I have $50 into them, not looking to make money off them.

Setup comes with:
- Set of MATTRACKs
- Hardware to mount (just bolt on and go!!!)

email me direct if you want them:

Looks sweet. Nice clean look. I'm about 80% done on my boebot with mattrack set-up. I was quite stymied for a while as how I was gonna do it and then just decided to subscribe to the old K.I.S.S.(keep it simple stupid) rule. Doing just enough to do the job. Don't have the skills or tools to attempt something like TOm's perfect mounting set-up. So....I'm using erector parts. Ha! Was dubious at first but i think it might work. Gonna look more like a junkyard bot than like yours! But they all tend to come out with their own personality don't they? Anyway, congrats again. Oh.. do you use more as a spybot?

Well you might have some good advice then on what my second robot kit should be. Probably wanna get into biped robot some time this year. I cant afford the $1000 variety. That's why the brat seemed like a good candidate(maybe toddler?). My problem with it , is that it does't seem to have much more room for expandability. I'd like to have an extra sensor or 2 and either a quadravox or speakjet for speech. Any other options or u think that is feasable? Advice from any of you guys would be mighty fine!

Go with the BRAT much more advanced then others ... For about $350 you can get a nice setup ... Mine was·a little more·because I got several other parts and upgrades (HS-645MG servos) ... you can use a BOTBOARD from them to use your Stamp and do anything you can think of with it ... I researched this for some time and the BRAT is the best investment for under $500 ... all metal parts, can reconfigure and powerful servos ... if you want to build a full biped down the road you already have the base for it .... very nice setup if you design it right.

Here is some video of my bots:
