Here is my new Data Collections system.· It uses RFID cards to id the employee and a barcode scanner to get the job number and the operation number.· It sends the data(via network)·to a server that records it to a SQL·database for data reporting.· The Prop worked great for this project since it has prebuilt objects for communication, vga, and keyboard.· Thanks to all that wrote the drivers!

thanks Sam. Yes we need to track how much time our various production jobs take. We can see how long the operation takes on average, or how long a specific person takes on an operation. we hope this will help our quoting process as well.

its unreal how easy building it was with the propeller. i might get flamed for this, but im an avid vb.net guy; its fast, easy, and it works. the propeller seems to be the same way. its powerful, yet easy to work with...... thanks Chip you made my job way easier!
