Hi,

I'm designing my custom·Propeller Proto board in Eagle for my TLC5940 project and I'm needing
to add a VGA & PS/2 mouse/kbd·connector to it, but I can't find any Eagle VGA mouse/kbd
connector components·in lbr format.

QUESTION:

Does anyone know of an VGA mouse/kbd connectors that will work in Eagle ?

This is going to be a cool board !, If I can find the connectors, It's also going to
have a SD card.

Here's· a picture of the board, It will run a 1 sqft. LED Matrix·Panel @·19mm Dot Pitch. Thats 768 led's!

It's not completed yet, but getting there.

What do you think ?

Are you looking for the combo VGA/PS2 component we use on the Protoboard or seperate components?

If you use winQCad, you can make your own footprints and parts libraries if they don't exsist.

Make sure you can order those parts (or parts that·are exactly the same footprint and pinout) before you go design a board around them.

That's a very good piece of advice. I always buy the components before I do the pcb, and it is also how I end up with loads of unused components turn.gif

    Areal -

I am curious to learn more about your 1 square foot LED board. Is it a PCB you are designing? Does it have more TLC5940s on it?

To prototype your design you could buy a couple of the TLC5940 driver boards at the Brilldea website and then use a Propeller Protoboard with the VGA/Mouse/Keyboard and add an SD card.

I agree with Ale, be sure you purchase or confirm part footprints before desinging with them.
