Looking for a portable video recorder
My project is the submersible ROV that I have posted in the applications forum. The ROV has a CCTV camera installed which sends underwater video to the surface console which has a 7" portable LCD monitor. I want to be able to record the video coming in. I have looked around the electronic/TV/computer stores and I haven't seen anything. What I want would be fairly small, work on twelve volts and have plug in SDF card or memory sticks for storage. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Richard

If I recall, ATV Research has something, too. Their website isn't the best, though. You have to download their entire catalog to see any products.

Bad spellers of the world untie!
You could use an Aiptek camcorder to record video.· The MPVR has a cable for plugging in external audio and video, and it cost less than $100.· It can record 640x480 resolution at 30 FPS.· The Aiptek website is at http://www.aiptek.com .
