Hello, I'm a beginner in using the Basic Stamp. I was hoping for some help for those how are experts in this domain. To make a long story short, i have a varying analogue signal (In volts) that i need to process it through my microcontroller which is a Basic Stamp BS2 Rev.F Some told me that i don't need an A/D converter and that i can use an RC network to drive my signal through. And if i was to buy a parallax A/D converter how hard is it to program. I learned the language of the BS2, but so far i haven't put it to use.
Any recommendations Thank You

Look at EME System's website (www.emesystems.com). Go to the "app-notes" link. On that page, there's a section on the RCTIME statement which discusses two ways of doing A/D conversion using it.

Download the tutorial "Basic Analog and Digital" from Parallax. Go to the Support tab, then Downloads, then Stamps in Class Downloads and you'll see it. There are lots of other useful tutorials off the same page.

Go through the Nuts and Volts columns on the Parallax website. Go to the Resources tab and you'll see the link. There are several columns on ADC and lots of other useful information.
