how to use 3.3V device (I2C sensor) with Stamp (5V)?

I am trying to use 3.3V sensor device which has I2C communication with Basic Stamp which use 5V. I could make communicate with other device covering 3.3~ 6V range, but I couldn't do with other device which only can work at 3.3V. So, I belive that it's due to Voltage different for the specific device. Anybody can any comment?
Thanks,
Caleb

Check out the sticky posts in the prop forum. The propeller works on 3.3 and there are designs to allow it to control 5v devices.

You could use a 3.3V voltage regulator to power your device. Take a look at the LT1121-3.3 from linear tech.
