BS2 Interpreter footprint smt

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to layout my first BS2 Board with SMT components. Some parts I have to build like the Interpreter chip, RN pack, Crystal, because I couldn't find them in the ExpressPCB Library. I built all but the Interpreter chip. My hands and skills don't seem to be good enough. Any advise from anyone please. Also any advice on trace size, I'm using .012. I have PCB Artist but that package seems to be a bit over my head. I read on this forum about Eagle software also...any recommendation?

Thanks for any help

The interpreter chip is a PIC chip have you checked Microchip for any info?

    Hello Franklin,

Yes, I tried to find the info but I just went on and built one with custom component. I will have to go back and tweak the drawing some more, not quite 100% with the PAD alignment.

I guess I'll just stick with ExpressPCB software. thanks
