Male Headers
This is a rather dumb question to ask but I've ran myself frantic
trying to figure it out.
Does anyone know of a good source for the extra long male headers
that Parallax includes in the boebot kit?
I know Parallax sells replacement 3 pin headers, but I need more
pins for a possibly cheaper price.
Any suggestions?

I usually have them plugged into a mating female header while soldering as they get often overheated and the pins begin to move every which way.
You might try to buy them locally unless you have other things to buy as well. I have at least 3 different lengths and the longest is very long. You might check your measurements with a ruler.

I bought some from Mouser a while back, I'll look for the invoice and get you a part number (I'm thinking I bought gold plated though).
You might try going there and searching yourself. I'm pretty sure mine were made by 3M. I think you can search on pin length.
Mouser is great because once you place an order or two they will start sending you their 3 inch thick catalog every 3 months (as long as you keep buying stuff). Having a paper catalog makes it much easier to find things. They ship same day as ordered, by UPS or mail and if you're anywhere near Texas you'll get you order in a day or so. If you're in the north, you would probably be better off ordering from Digi-Key (they don't both carry the same things though and Digi-Key has been stingy with catalogs here lately).

I think you're looking for the ones with either .295 or .318 mating length.
