Is there a way to create a new background virtual peipheral, over timer, pwm and so on?
I need to generate a phase modulated audio waveform, about 1KHz, than I need a very fast update capability, that I believe to be achievable only by a custom built background virtual peripheral.

There is work in progress trying to run javelin code on the propeller.
That should allow for userdefined VP's but memory is limited to 16KByte
and currently the jvm runs considerably slower than the javelin.
