Add-on Modules

Hi there,

Would anyone be interested in small add-on modules for adding sound, video, input, output, etc to your projects.
The modules will come with a wire to attach them to your project and a pin header to attach them to a solderless breadboard (if so desired).
Expressions of interest would be appreciated.

Thank you smile.gif

Methinks such modules would obviously be
computer speakers, shift register ICs, and monitors,
which most of us who use Propellers already have or can get really cheap.

It sounds kind of like you're asking if we'd like to buy air to fill the tires with our new cars. confused.gif

Although I could probably use some more header pins and sockets, my sources seem to be out of stock.

I would be IF and only if the finished product is cheaper than the components I can already buy...

    VIRAND,

The modules are TV out, Audio, etc.

The modules will be on small PCB's.
The idea behind this was to have small modules that people can connect and disconnect to their projects easily for debug.

    Take for example this situation-

You have a robot that you need to debug however adding tv output to it will take up space that you will need for later addons.
Yes you could build it on a solderless breadboard however that is fiddly and can take up some time.

With these mosules you can Video enable your robot within 2 minutes and when you are done, just disconnect and go.
    No more wasted components.

    Philldapill,

The price (depending on the module) will be around $10.

I have attached 2 pictures of what the audio modules may look like.
First picture is Mono, second picture is Stereo.

A version with built in amp and speaker can be designed if that is proffered.

    Thank you smile.gif
