BS2p24 & DS1631 - Problem reading least significant byte

I'm having a problem, and hoping someone can help...

I'm using a DS1631 attached to a BS2p24, and attempting to read·two bytes forming a 12 bit temperature via I2CIN, but no matter what I do, seems as though I cannot get the Stamp to receive the least significant byte.· The way it's working is probably okay, precision is horrible (+/-2 degrees), and I was really hoping for more.· Attached is the code I'm using.

Any thoughts?· Please let me know...

    The I2C statements read and write a byte at a time (it says so in the chapter on the I2CIN statement). Even though you declared "result" as a word, the statement only transfers one byte to it. If the data comes in MSB first, then LSB, you can put the following in the I2CIN statement "[noparse][[/noparse] result.highbyte, result.lowbyte ]" and this will give you the full 16-bit value.
