electronics question...
ok.. im having one of those DUMB days ...
how do i go about hooking up 2 leds to a single pot ...what i want them to do is basically this:
pot turned to the left...led 1 lights ...and fades out as the pot is turned to the right and LED 2 is fading in ....
im using this as some what of a mix indicator ...
i dunno why this is giving me trouble!???!

Connect +V to anode of each LED. Connect cathode of each LED to fixed ends of the pot (one to each end). Connect resistor to pot wiper. Connect other end of this resistor to -V/ground. Wiper resistor is to keep from blowing the LED when pot is at full travel in either direction.
Your mileage may vary.
Almost forgot: there is a wattage limit for the pot, and a maximum wiper current. Make sure you're not exceeding those limits, or you'll have to throw in a couple of transistors to control the LEDs.
