RFID to PC with a VB interface.

I have been playing around with the RFID antenna together with the basic stamp and would like to connect the antenna directly to the pc and trigger a word or phrase to appear on the screen which is different for each tag.

i have found fragments of similar projects on the forum but nothing conclusive, any help with the VB interface would be greatly appreciated.
