Is there anyway to use the USB Oscilloscope as a data recorder?? I know there is a record option but it only records for a small amount of time. I need to be able to record at 100 - 200 uS per division for a several seconds. does anyone have any idea of how I can do this??

Yes, you can do it. Make sure you have the 5.1 version of the software, and then check the Help file.

well, i tried that and I cant find how to do it...

If i use the export data to file option it always saves the same amount of data to the file.... on 50 uS per divisino it always saves 1505 samples... i need it to keep saving samples until I want it to stop (several seconds of data, as mentioned above).

And reference waveform is just one screen view worth of data... which is even less data i believe.

ive checked all other topics in the help file and can't find out how to use the oscope as a data logger.

    please advise, thanks in advanced.
