Hi
We loaded V1.06 onto a Dell Notebook PC today.
Running Windows 2000· Version 1.06 does not want to start.
Message refers to event log file and the associated Event error is 1056.
We loaded a previous version V1.05.8 and works fine ..
What has happened in V1.06 that causes this error ..?
Has anybody experienced this exact issue..?
I Googled the event Log error ID but it does not really tell me anything.
Nothing that seems to relate to what is happening anyway..

So far, all I can find indicates that the Event log ID 1056 is a DHCP service error.· There isn't anything added to the Propeller Tool that has to do with DHCP or any internet access really.· I've never seen an error in the software create an event log either.
Can you send screen shots of the error message when trying to run the Propeller Tool and also of the even log in the area where the error occurs?· Maybe the text of the error in the event log will help too.
Are there any other nearby errors in your event log?
The main thing that changed in that version of the tool is the addition of enhanced features to allow the user to control serial port scanning.
