serial inkjet printer

I have this serial inkjet printer board, according to the manual there are two fonts stored on an EEPROM chip on this board, the utility and enhanced board. right now it appears that is printing the utility font but how can I make it to print the enhanced board, somebody suggest to write the entire code for this, but if the enhanced code is already there, how can I bring it out?
