Eagle Cad, SX28 and Components

Hello All,

I am having some trouble with Eagle Cad and finding the components I need for doing some schematics. First can't find the SX28 anywhere as well as resistors etc. I spent a little time just trying to find a simple resistor and no luck. Is there a easy way to find the components? I am using the search feature!

Also didn't parallax at one time sell a bare pcb for their deluxe breadboard?

Thanks,
Kevin

SX libraries are available at the Eagle library downloads page -- but they are under UBICOM and SCENIX.

Basic resistors are in the libarary catalogue "RCL" -- i.e. Resistors Capacitors Inductors.

    AH HA! Ok got it!

Now how do I add the new libraries?

    Thanks Zoot!

I am NOT the world's greatest Eagle user -- but, once you've downloaded the new libraries to the appropriate Eagle folder (I'm not at that machine right now, I think it's called "lib" or "library" -- check the documentation), then, when in Eagle, you need to "use->"library"->"choose".

Basically, as I understand it, the default built-in libraries are always loaded and ready-to-go -- additional libraries don't show up in a particular project unless you choose to "use" them -- otherwise your "working" library would be huuuuuuuugggggeeeee.

Whatch out for some of the SMD chip packs in those·libraries.·I found a·few that the packages were off a little. From what I remember the parts fit, but the sizes weren't 100% correct. Everything will work, but you'll find a very slight error when placing SMD parts.
