Radio Control Tripod

Hi i am trying to make a radio control tripod that will control the pan and tilt by using two servo motors.

So far i have purchased TWS-434 RF transmitter, and RWS-434 RF receiver with 8 bit encoders and decoders.

My plan·is to have a·joystick that will move the two axis.(such as a RC car)·left and right. and up and down.
To do this I plan on using two BS2e chips one at the reciever and one at the transmitter.
And at·the·end add aswitch that would engage the camera's button.
Does anyone have any specific details on how to write code or wire the BS2 to the decoder? Advice would be greatly appreciated.

    cool.gif Hi,

    This is just one of the functions I designed a Pan&Tilt bracket for ... to put everything into one self-contained little box that the camera mounts on top of a servo-arm but the little box sitting on top of a tripod would be able to rotate (Pan) until the battery wore dead.

    Here's a short video showing it riding atop a little R/C robot platform;

    I'm working out some other solutions and if I can find a machine shop to crank these out for about $10 each then they'd be affordable to sell ... currently I"m quoted about $56 each !!!

    Laser Cutting + Bending ???

    Hi,

    J Afandi, I got your PM for a .DXF file ... but before I start sending the file around the world I want to know where it's going and have a license contract for manufacturing.

    I have designed maybe 45 new brackets for robotics ... bipedals, hexapods etc... I don't work for free until my housing, food and other essentials are free.

    If you only want radio control, why use a processor at all? Any hobby shop R/C gear will do exactly what you're asking for out of the box, no mods or wiring. Just curious.
