Stamp PLC Digital Output Current maximum
I have been looking for a specification for what is the max allowable current to pass through the digital outputs of the Stamp PLC.
I know they are isolated from the controller, but what is the max current they can safely output?
Thanks,
Dan

There is a limit on outputs of approximately 800mA. If you want to check for other specifications it is covered on the last page of the manual. There is a link below for your convenience.

Am I missing something, I'm looking at the last page and I don't see the 800mA limit anywhere, is that listed in other documentation?
Thanks, Dan
On the last page of the documentation is the portion of the datasheet with the important electrical specs for the IPS512G, which I believe is the IC in the PLC (I am at the home office and not in front of one). If you look at the section listing continuous current (ISD), it reads, .8A, per leg, both legs on. Since each IC has two drivers, this indicates that you can get 800mA from all outputs at the same time. I hope this helps. Take care.
