Where to get a SX20 "clip" to program a SX20 that is already on a board ?

I've seen these chip "clips" that allow you to make connections to a chip that is already soldered to a board.
Does anyone know where I could get one that would fit the SX20 ?
I didn't have any room for the programming pins, and now of course I need to reprogram them.

Bean.

    Hello,

If you can't find any of those sockets you might be able to rig something up. I've seen some special spring contact test points for sale at Mouser and some have a very thin point which should be able to contact the OSC pins of the SX20. Maybe make a small adapter to hold a pair of those to touch the OSC pins for programming and just tap off ground and the +V from anywhere else on the module that they are easier to pickup. The contacts I saw at Mouser were made by IDI.

You could also check with ARIES as they make some odd adapters and sockets. Perhaps they have something.

I'd like to find a ZIF socket myself that would fit the SX28 chips. That way they could be programed before soldering. If I can't find one I may just order some of the test contacts mentioned above and make one to just hit the pins I need for programming.

    Hope this helps.
