Need help w/ a circuit
I would like to have a switch that could be used to switch between "battery" and "charge". When the switch is in "charge" mode, there would be no power going to the voltage regulator and the charger would be connected to the batteries. The charger will be connected to the circuit via a cable with a molex plug. When the switch is in "battery" mode, the battery pack is connected to the voltage regulator.
I attached an example - but it is not complete...
Thanks

Just a note in passing. It's not a real good idea to charge two batteries in series. One can easily overcharge one and undercharge the other. There are also some safety considerations as well. You're a lot better off using one battery of the proper voltage, or use a series-parallel switch. The series-parallel switch is in the parallel position during charging, and in the series position during use. When I say "switch", a relay would work just as well.
