HM55B Compass Module

Is the HM55B compass module from Parallax easier to use than the CPMS03 from Devantech/Acroname etc? If I were to mount it on a robot (either one), I would have to mount it high up above all motors and other components, right? Is there not a way to mount it near all other electronics without interference? Couldn't I enclose it in an all-metal box? Thanks!

I put the HM55B on my BOE, near the heatsink, and no matter the direction I turn, it's always 320degrees!!

I can put a screwdriver near it and it'll change....but then goes back to 320degrees.....so I'd say a metal box wouldn't work, and it's fairly important to keep it away from other metal/magnetic objects!

    My opinion!
