hello all

I was wondering if anyone has done·a project where they've created servo movements with the psc software, saved it and been able to load that saved program onto or using the basic stamp ( i have the 2). I have a quadrapod i'm trying to build that i'd like to have a small range of movements and i want to use the basic stamp to read sensor input and respond with the relevant motion. maybe even just point me in the right direction that i can experiment in would be a fine start as i'm a fiddler. However i dont have much knowledge of the basic stamps or electronics at the moment so K-I-S please.

You cannot download any sequences to the BASIC Stamp. That feature was never implemented and is not covered in documentation or the website. You will need to re-create them in code on the BASIC Stamp.

Thanks for your reply Chris. Is there any documentation on combining the psc with the basic stamp in any other way other than the very basic information given in the psc manual available. Possibly even sample codes where the stamp (through the psc ) makes the servos perform a set range of movements (!PSC 1 1500 8). I'm not even sure if that was right having the servo on pin one of the psc level out.

Yes, the USB-PSC is identical in function to the Serial version except that it include the USB connection. You can use the USB version just like a serial PSC and the documentation for the serial version focuses more on BOE-Bot interfacing, so if you go to that product page and download the documentation you should have what you need. I hope this helps. Take care.

    Thank you,

I'll give the serial documentation a look over. Thanx for your help.
