BS2 bluetooth/Lego NXt

Ok here is hte situation:

We are building a robot that has a Lego NXT brain that controls motors, and we have a parallax BS2 that we are using to control a short range Thermal Array.· We are thinking since both have bluetooth (we have the embeded(sp?) blue card for the BS2) we can use them to communicate.· We are wondering if it would work.

Here is the example we want to do. We say go here the NXT goes to the point then "tells" the BS2 its there cut on the TA.· Are we in line with it (heat sig)? BS2 says yes then the NXT goes ok thanks and takes back main control over.

Is that possible??

    Adam,

The BASIC Stamp with an EB500 communicates serially over the BT link. This link is established by the target MAC Address. If you NXT device can communicate serially and connect to the EB500 then it is a simple matter of sending serial messages/acknoledgements back and forth for the two devices to cooperate. I hope this helps. Take care.
