Programming BS1 & USBto232 adapter

Hi,

I'm proudly having the parallax professonal development board with the USBto232 adapter. (because i haven't a rs port in my laptop)

But i was wondering if i can program BS1's with that adapter, i couldn't find info about it.

Yes, you can program the BS1 on the Professional Development Board using the USB to serial adapter along with the BS1 serial adapter.· Here is a link for the BS1 serial adapter:

True, however, you'll need the BS1 serial adapter to connect to "J10" for programming the BS1.· The BS1 cannot be programmed using the DB-9 connector on the Professional development Board.· You can use the the USB to serial adapter inconjunction with the BS1 serial adapter.
