Hi All,
Here's my quick remake of a classic ZX81 game, 3D Monster Maze.
Just Maze generation to go now, but I thought I'd give you all a looksy at it's progress.
Let me know what you think.
Baggers.
binaries for Hybrid, Proto/Demo board, and Hydra after link.

After a few games my high score is still only 215...
For some reason my pad is a little bit flaky and in stead of going forward it turns into the wall now and then...

Experience level:
[ ] Let's connect the motor to pin 1, it's a 6V motor so it should be fine.
[ ] OK, I got my resistors hooked up with the LEDs.
[X] I got the Motor hooked up with the H-bridge and the 555 is supplying the PWM.
[ ] Now, if I can only program the BOE-BOT to interface with he Flux Capacitor.

The ZX-81 was my first computer. Although I didn't have 3D-Monster Maze this stirs some good memories .
Clemens
lol I'll try, but I can't be held responsible if I do another one quickly.
Clemens,
Yeah, same for me, I guess that's why I do all these remakes :)

Ym2413a, lol, although it's probably before your time :)
Not only is it good for testing if mouse, TV and sound are present but it's got a nice look and sound. I always prefer mouse control over joystick or keyboard.
And I never get past the first level! -So I never get tempted to play long.
See - sometimes the unfinished works of art are the real masterpieces...

This is really good gameplay for when it came out!
The animation isn't bad either for ASCII blocks. :)
