Pixter Plus TFT LCD pls help me with pinouts!
I opened a pixter plus it has a 4.5" TFT ? b/w (or grey) W/TouchScreen! LCD the pinouts are printed on the PCB.
Can someone with more LCD knowledge please help me with what these might be?...
The touch screen connector is 4-pins I assume? capacitive
RW = read write
DCCLK = DC CLOCK ?I assume.
VDD = Voltage +
GND = Ground
MEN = ???
VLCD = ???
FP = ???
LP = ???
DF = ???
DL3 = ???
CP = ???

MEN probably stands for "M Enable". But what does M stand for?
VLCD = definitely "voltage to LCD". Might be +7.5, or even -8!
DCCLK = I don't think it stands for "DC" clock; but it is a clock. Probably "data - something - clock".
If this works like the color TV LCD I studied, the way this thing works is that you start by giving it a clock in the frequency it expects. Then you send a signal to begin a frame, and a signal to begin a line. You would clock in all of the pixels for a line, then send the line start signal again to go to the next line, and so on.
That would mean that most likely, anything you see with an "F" probably means "frame", and "L" probably means line, so
FP = frame start, LP = line start
(I don't know what word the P stands for.)
Could CP mean column start? I.e., you would assert CP to advance a column. I would think that the clock would do this for you, but maybe not. Maybe you have to advance a column once per N clocks. Or does CP mean "color of the pixel"?
DL3 is curious - where's DL1 and DL2? Does it stand for "data line 3"?
Since it's a serial interface, there must be a chip on the board that converts these serial interfaces to rows and columns to run the LCD. If you can find the chip number, you might be able to get a datasheet for it, which will explain all the signals.
