Can you use Java to program the Basic Stamp 2?

The BS1 and BS2 can only be programmed in Parallax's Basic. The Javelin Stamp is programmed in Java. The Propeller is programmed in Spin and Propeller assembly language with a C compiler expected in the near future. The SX can be programmed in its assembly language, SX/B which is a Basic compiler, and 3rd party C compilers.
