I think people would buy them if they were more affordable. Those stickers we put on PropPlugs cost us around $.40 and they are even made in the USA. If you could get yours made in China for $.05 and sell sheets of 100 for $20, that would probably work for everyone.

We get our dome labels from www.domelabels.com.

Sorry about the permission request going unanswered. I might be confused, but I thought I forwarded your request to Ken Gracey (marketing) and he gave you permission, copying me on the return email. Sometimes I do lazy stuff like that.

$3.00 is too expensive for a sticker IMHO, it's the kind of thing you normally get for free.

It may be a matter of bulk to get a good price, I'm suprized Parallax didn't grab this idea and do it themselves, they also have the shop to sell them in and could include them with orders.

This sticker looks really nice! I wanted some stickers for the enclosures I have at work. There, it's a pain to order things... It's hard to justify the ~30 minutes of paperwork required to put an order in for such a small thing... So, it's not really the price that's an issue for me... Still, if it were in the $1 range, I might use my own money to get a couple...

Also, I was originally thinking more along the lines of those metallized stickers you find on laptops. I think this would look nice on the black plastic or aluminum enclosures that I've been using...

If you get a 10 pack then they are only $2AUD each.
Unfortunately I have to sell them for this price as this is almost what I am paying for them.
The idea is that the small amount of profit from this will go towards buying more of them and hopefully selling them at a a slightly lower price.
At the moment I just don't have the money to start with.

Hi computer guy.

I really do like the looks of the label.. it is a fresh looking design.

You need to get 1000's of them made before you get the price down to a respectable level.
Been there done it and aborted it.. the cost of shipping overseas for such a low cost item makes it really
an awkward and non profitable thing to do..

Sorry that we did not respond earlier .. like CHIP felt a little uncomfortable just saying blindly NO .

If you pursue this try a alu foil label they also look good and are way cheaper.
again qty dictates price.. than you need to add cost of shipping from China or wherever and than cost of shipping to
whoever wants them...
I really do think that this is better left to people like Parallax themselves.
They have the connections these day's in China and could possible get them made for next to nothing.
Offer them the design of your sticker and see what they say... if they take you up on it will donate a PropBus system to you..
I admire your desire to do something..

That sounds like a nice offer.
The only thing is I do need to get the money to pay for the stickers in the first place. Therefore I will not be able to take you up on your offer without selling 200 stickers.
as I have sold only 14 this seams unlikely. :-(

I live in the USA and although ~$1 isn't bad, paying $8.50 shipping is really out of the question for something that cheap. I realize you can't go any lower but the cold harsh business reality is there nonetheless.

BTW: It may not have been such a smart idea to post such a large high resolution image of your sticker. I myself am an ethical person and it would not be worth it to me to face the fires of hell over a sticker, but others ?????

Think of it this way.

30 stickers at $1 = $30.00 + freight = $38.50
3 ten packs at $8 = $24.00 + freight = $32.50
or
40 stickers at $1 = $40.00 + freight = $48.50
4 ten packs at $8 = $32.00 + freight = $40.50
or
100 stickers at $1 = $100 + freight = $108.50
1 one hundred pack at $70 + freight = $78.50

So By ordering in Bulk you nearly remove the freight cost.
In fact with the third example you completely remove the shipping and some.

We will be selling the stickers for $0.99 each and also including them in Propeller Kits.
