SX/C?
First, allow me to appologize if any of this is mentioned in a previous post, as I have not done too much digging.
I heard a rumor a few months ago that a new version of SX/B was to be released in the fall of 2007. It was to include support for local variables as well as several other really nice features (that I can't seem to remember right now). Also to come with the updated version of SX/B was an IDE supporting the C programming language, SX/C.
As to the best of my knowledge, this updated version has yet to be released. Are any of the rumors true? And if so, when might we expect to see these wonderful tools?

However, there is no supporting documentation. CCS does make a real SX/C compiler, but it cost 200 dollars....

as there is a free alternative to the CCS sx/c called C4SX.
