Programing a Stamp w/o a project board

I am looking for a way to program a stamp with out putting it in my Board of Education. I am experimenting with the RF Transceiver kit and don't like swapping the chips out every time I need to update the code on a stamp.

I can jump Sout, Sin, ATN and VSS from a stamp on a bread board to the empty stamp sockets on my Board of Education and get communication through that.

I attempted to create the circuit for programing communication used in the Reference Manual on page 28, but didn't have any luck.

What I want is a unit that plugs into the male end of my usb to 232 adapter and has 4 loose wires that i can plug into my stamp through the bread board.

I had a similar issue. What I did is run a USB Prop plug (propeller programmer that I had) ran that into a max232 rs232/ttl converter and then to the BS2. Now I can program the BS2 on my Mac OS X using MacBS2.

Well, I got the schematic that Franklin recommended to work. It looks just like the one in the reference manual, but redrawn a little. I have it set up in a bread board and it's working great. I just need to solder it into a board now and I'm good to go. Makes life much easier.
